A Good Day for Gaming

There! Finally finished.
I think the title explains this one. Not only are the rainy days the "play video games guilt free" kinda day, they're also apparently the "I don't need to get dressed" kinda day.

Okay fine, I just wanted to draw Kaori in her underwear. Shut up.

This took forever because it went through a lot of changes. At first, I was trying to draw her lying outside listening to an Ipod (she had clothes then). When the pose I wanted proved difficult, I made her sit up. Then this idea came to me.

I immediately ignored that and tired to change it up a bit more. The room was originally longer, so I included Sierra (another character of mine), also in her undies, looking terrified (which is why the games are in the horror genre). It was supposed to be like a sleepover. In the end, I decided that putting two almost naked girls on a bed together was a bad idea and might give people the wrong impression...

Pfft. Ha! Just kidding. I thought it was great.

In reality, I just wasn't happy with the way Sierra turned out, so I scrapped her, cropped the room and went with the previous idea. Compared to how nicely Kaori turned out, Sierra was just paling in comparison.
I made this for two reasons, one was to try something new with the eyes (I was going for a style similar to *pcmaniac88) and I like it much better than what I've been doing. Secondly, as mentioned before, I wanted to draw a girl in her underwear.
Bras and controllers are surprisingly hard to draw, by the way.

That "wallscroll" is my old I.D. getting recycled. I'm such a lazy basta... wait, Um... I mean... clever guy. Yeah, that's it... Really, I just didn't want to put someone else's work on there or fanart of any kind. I kinda like it because it's more cartoony and fits in I guess.
I almost put Ed Elric on there, since he's a sexy mancake and all (Did I say that out loud? Oh well...), but then I was like... "You know, it's depressing when the wallscroll looks better than what's supposed to be 'real life".

This final result, for me, is also a comparison. It's kinda like "this is how I used to color," compared to "this is how I color now." Regardless, I suddenly find it weird to put myself in my art, so I don't think I'll do that in the future, even if I am being awesomely mauled.

Anyway, characters are mine. Games and Xbox aren't. If they were, I'd be a much richer man.

I don't think this needs censoring or anything... technically there's nothing to see save for some cleavage. I'll just see if anyone takes offense to it...
Wait a minute... What's that line coming out of her panties? Is that the edge of her...? No. Never mind. Ignore that. It's a... um... muscle deformation. That's it.

Gah. Long explanation. Must... learn... to stop... ranting.
